Our client is Australia's leading toy manufacturer and they're on the lookout for a freelance Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer to join one of their creative teams for a 2-3 month temporary assignment commencing November.This opportunity will see you working on bold and colourful designs for toy packaging including generating design concepts and collaborating with a passionate, high-energy team.
If you're wondering how to define bold and colourful, then take a stroll down the toy aisle of Big W and Target and you'll get a true sense of the range of work you'll be required to do.
You'll be developing packaging across a range of three dimensional structures including blister packs and tray packaging, so experience in these spaces would be an absolute advantage.
You're not precious in how you work either.
The toy industry can be fast paced and changes may often happen, so the ability to take on board the feedback and pivot is vital.
To be suitable for this role, you'll have:Strong experience in packaging and branding, ideally for youth or consumer products.You thrive in fast-paced environments and aren't afraid to go back to the drawing board.Experience in FMCG packaging can be useful, but what really matters is your passion for vibrant, toy-inspired design.You have an interest in the toy industry or youthful consumer products.You're adaptable, with the ability to learn new processes and industry-specific practices quickly.The client is based in the South East suburbs and while car would be the ideal way to get there, they are located near public transport options.
This is a hybrid opportunity; 3 days onsite with Monday and Wednesdays being work from home days.
