Role Overview
As a
Network Engineer , you'll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and supporting cutting-edge network solutions across diverse platforms.
We're seeking a professional with a strong managed services background who thrives in fast-paced, project-driven environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design & Implementation : Create and deploy high-performance network solutions for multi-site environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Infrastructure Management : Maintain and optimise LAN/WAN infrastructure, continually identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Project Leadership : Lead network projects end-to-end, including scoping, design, installation, and configuration.
Customer Collaboration : Build strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice on technologies to shape and advance their IT strategies.
Teamwork & Security : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Managed Services, to resolve technical issues and strengthen network security.
Support Excellence : Deliver Level 3 support and participate in an on-call roster to ensure seamless operations in complex network environments.
On-Site Engagement : Visit client sites and data centres, delivering exceptional service that fosters business growth.
About you
Strong background in managing complex networks, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying advanced routing and switching solutions.
Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, including scoping, design, and implementation.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Technical Experience
Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (CCNP/CCIE preferred)
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching solutions (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, HPE, Aruba)
Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco) and VPNs (IPSec, NAT)
Telephony (3CX, CUCM, Teams calling)
VMware networking and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
