About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated person with 5-6 years of experience in large scale project approvals (renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure), environmental compliance, and auditing. Your key focus will be the delivery of environmental approvals and compliance projects in partnership with our established, top tier clients to support several high-profile development projects.
On a day-to-day basis your work will include a mix of primary approvals (e.g. EIS, Review of Environmental Factors, Development Applications and consent modifications), secondary approvals (e.g. EMPs), construction and operational compliance. Experience in field monitoring and survey, biodiversity offsets, mine site rehabilitation and sustainability reporting will be highly regarded.

About You Skills and Experience The ideal applicant will have a degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or urban and regional planning, along with 5 to 6 years of experience in major project approvals and/or onsite environmental management. Industry and consulting experience will be considered favourable but not essential.
You will have the flexibility in working arrangements, including flexible working hours and working from home. As an experienced consultant, you will be provided with an autonomous environment, while receiving support from senior personnel as needed. The location of the role is flexible with our offices in NSW (Armidale or Newcastle) or QLD (Brisbane).
