About This Role We are looking for a Mid to Senior Level Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join our commissioning management project delivery team. Reporting directly to the Owner and Director, this role requires a dynamic professional with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
What You'll Do Lead Project Delivery: Manage the services and commissioning management process providing engineering and project management support to help deliver MEP and specialty systems across various large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless project execution.Innovate: Apply technologies to improve project outcomes and stay at the forefront of industry advancements.Mentor and Develop: Guide and support junior engineers within our team along with our construction and facility management industry team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Diverse Projects: Engage with a variety of sectors including healthcare, commercial, and residential, contributing to both new builds and operational facility projects.What We're Looking For Experience: At least 5 years in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a strong background in building services and consultancy and/or contracting.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Building Services Engineering, ideally with a reasonable understanding of project management.Accreditation: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering actively working towards Chartered Professional Engineer status.Attributes: A competent and passionate engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, with the ability to think laterally and work flexibly across multidisciplinary teams.Training and Development At GME, we are committed to your professional growth.
