Microsoft Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) In this customer-facing role you will lead technical presales scoping and solution design on sales engagements with new and existing clients. You will do this by qualifying opportunities, developing solutions offerings and assisting in developing proposals & presentation materials in close partnership with the sales team.
Primary Responsibilities: Understand our customers' business, IT infrastructure, technical challenges, and strategy roadmap. Ensure proposals are technically valid, achievable, and align to customer requirements. Give formal presentations to our customers on solutions. Engage with customers to gather requirements, qualify opportunities, and present our solutions and offerings. Engage on Managed Services and Professional Services opportunities. Maintain technical knowledge and certifications in Modern Workplace, Cloud, and end-user services. Develop appropriate technical and business managerial level contacts within our customers and engage in strategic advisory discussions. Support Sales in new opportunities and identifying opportunities for new products and service offerings. Requirements: Significant experience in technical roles within Managed Services and Professional services. Broad technical capability across various products/solutions. Ability to see the wider customer landscape. Experience with Public & Private Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 suite, including migration methodologies, architecture, and deployment. Knowledge of Data Protection technologies, Security, Collaboration, and Networking. Unrestricted permanent working rights in Australia. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certification in Azure and Modern Workplace technologies. Experience with Public & Private Cloud, Microsoft Modern Workplace, Data protection, and IT Service Management (ITSM). Skills: Ability to map business needs to technology solutions. Strong client relationship and presentation skills. Enjoyment of the sales process and solution design phase. Ability to engage with engineers and consultants on a technical level. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Effective workshop and consultation skills. Team player with a strong client service orientation.
