Microsoft Exchange Engineer

12+12+12 Month Federal Government Contract Baseline Clearance Required Canberra ACT, 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH Our Federal Government Client requires the services of an experienced Microsoft Exchange Engineer to be embedded in the ICT Division to ensure successful planning, execution and delivery of services.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic including taking ownership and initiative, providing professional expertise, and a high level of productivity.
The key responsibilities of the Exchange Engineer include: Design, implement, deliver, and support Microsoft Exchange Online and Hybrid environments for the department.
Mail Flow – Ensure appropriate configuration and troubleshooting of mail flow issues.
Email Security – looking after content filtering, anti-spam and secure email communications.
Retention Policies and associated email compliance standards in line with PSPF Framework.
Integration – of Exchange with other systems and applications as required.
Ongoing support, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Desired skills and experience: Expertise in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Microsoft Exchange environments for Government or other large organizations in hybrid and cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements.
Strong experience Microsoft Exchange Platform and associated email security architecture.
Automation and implementation via Infrastructure as Code solutions desirable.
