A SharePoint Technical Specialist plays a crucial role in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint environments within an organization. Here's a breakdown of their roles and responsibilities: What you'll do: SharePoint Implementation: planning and executing the deployment of SharePoint solutions tailored to the organization's needs including understanding business requirements, designing the architecture, and configuring SharePoint farms, sites, and services. Customization and Development: customize SharePoint sites and applications by developing custom solutions using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).Integration: SharePoint is often integrated with other systems and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, ERP systems, and third-party tools. The specialist is responsible for integrating SharePoint with these systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Administration and Maintenance: manage SharePoint servers, services, and databases, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.User Support and Training: provides technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and resolving incidents related to SharePoint usage.Governance and Compliance: enforce governance policies and best practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Migration and Upgrades: manages SharePoint migrations from older versions or other platforms to the latest version of SharePoint or SharePoint Online.Stay Updated with SharePoint TechnologiesWhat you'll bring: Demonstrable track record and expertise within SharePoint You'll have a proven track record using power automate and power apps (Microsoft 365 platform).
