AUIT are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Security and Technical Implementation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, deployment and support of Microsoft 365 solutions including Intune, Defender, and security configurations.
This role involves a hands-on approach to setting up, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft 365 services to enhance security, streamline IT processes, and ensure compliance with security standards. The specialist will work closely with other IT and security team members to drive secure and efficient implementations for clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Microsoft 365 Configuration and DeploymentPlan and execute the deployment of Microsoft 365 Business Premium environments.Configure Microsoft 365 security and compliance features tailored to client or business needs.Manage user accounts, licenses, and access controls.Device Management with IntuneConfigure and implement Microsoft Intune policies for mobile device and application management.Develop and manage endpoint security policies for devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).Troubleshoot and support Intune configurations and address device-related security issues.Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender solutions to protect against cybersecurity threats.Conduct threat analysis and develop mitigation strategies using Defender's reporting and alerting tools.Optimise Defender settings and features to align with best practices in security.Security and ComplianceCollaborate with security teams to design and enforce policies for data protection, conditional access, and identity governance.Configure Microsoft 365 security features, including data loss prevention (DLP), multifactor authentication (MFA), and compliance monitoring.Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Technical Support and DocumentationProvide technical support and training on Microsoft 365, Intune, and Defender.Document configurations, policies, and technical guidelines for reference and training.Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 security-related issues and implement effective solutions.About the Business: AUIT is a full-service I.T.
