This senior position requires a highly skilled Production Manager to deliver operational excellence - shaping strategy, optimising performance, and leading a motivated team to achieve outstanding results.

Description
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the processing strategy to align with overall business goals.
Take charge of daily operations to meet and exceed service level targets.
Operational excellence: Drive increased productivity through continuous improvement principles.
Oversee structural changes and operational refinements to enhance yields and efficiency.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor a diverse team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the processing team adheres to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Promote best practices and maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OH&S requirements.
Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate schedules for plant and machinery maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
Data-Driven Decisions: Establish and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, and operational performance, using data insights to drive improvements.
Communication & Collaboration: Leadership development, building culture and succession planning.
Profile
You are a proven leader in protein production or processing (meat, seafood or small goods), with at least 5 years' experience in a senior role.
You have a strong track record in driving operational excellence and implementing practical, measurable process improvements.
Your commercial acumen and analytical skills enable you to interpret data and make informed decisions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
A natural leader, you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at fostering collaboration and accountability within large, diverse teams.
