Job Description
Seeking an outstanding Executive Personal Assistant to support one of our busiest and most well-regarded senior partners in Canberra.
As one of the firm's top performers and highest billers, the partner brings in a significant volume of work and is renowned for their expertise and professional achievements.
To help them streamline their day-to-day operations and maximise productivity, we need an exceptional Executive Assistant who can manage competing priorities with ease, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
The Successful Applicant
Proactively manage the partner's complex and ever-changing schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Act as the primary point of contact for the partner, liaising with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
Handle high volumes of correspondence, drafting responses, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Assist with the preparation of client materials, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Monitor deadlines, commitments, and work flows, helping the partner stay on track and focused.
Anticipate needs and provide proactive support to minimise distractions and maximise efficiency.
Manage confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
Support day to day with other additional tasks that arise.
What's on Offer
Proven experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role, ideally in a professional services or legal environment.
Organisational superstar: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence in liaising at all levels.
Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to quickly adapt to new systems and software.
Detail-oriented: A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and high standards in all work.
Proactive problem-solver: Able to anticipate needs, think on your feet, and find solutions to challenges before they arise.
Ability to make the executives working day easier by being across urgent tasks.
Discreet and professional: Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Adaptable and flexible: Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and managing the demands of a busy senior partner.
