Job Description As a key member of the onsite maintenance team, you will oversee the site's maintenance activities, ensuring reliability and driving continuous improvement within the department. You will manage a team of approximately five direct reports and report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies and procedures related to manufacturing requirements. Maintain and control a preventative and emergency maintenance program for all plant services and facilities. Coordinate and execute fault finding, diagnostics, isolation, shutdowns, repairs, and modifications. Identify inefficiencies in processing and recommend maintenance solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Supervise maintenance staff, including managing shift, overtime, and leave rosters. Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to address breakdowns and related issues.
The Successful Applicant 5+ years of experience in a similar role Trade qualifications and/or tertiary engineering degree required Proven expertise in maintenance strategies and end-to-end maintenance within food manufacturing Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated track record in development and process improvement What's on Offer $105-115k + super
