Job Description
Prepare month-end accounts in line with the group's reporting schedule and support year-end processes. Conduct cost review presentations and provide detailed management reports to stakeholders. Analyse monthly cost trends, offering variance analysis and insights into underlying drivers. Develop and maintain processes for cost control, analysis, and reporting. Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance. Collaborate closely with site leadership on accruals, allocations, and cost coding. Conduct monthly site visits to foster partnerships with operational teams and provide financial insights. The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Analyst should have:
A degree in Accounting & Finance, and working towards your CA/ CPA. 4 to 5+ years in a finance role or Big4/ Mid-tier experience with mining clients. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAP (preferred). Strong understanding of the Mining and Resources industry. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong business acumen.
