As our Commercial Logistics Strategic Sourcing Manager , you will play a critical part in the successful delivery of all facets of the logistics and broader supply chain strategy across ANZ.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive creative solutions to deliver significant benefit across our supply chain.
The role of the commercial team is to maximize value for our business, and the stakeholders we partner with by developing and executing strategies that empower our Associates to deliver quality services throughout Mars.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop Logistics Category insights, benchmarks and import best practices and ensure knowledge management, retention and sharing.
Develop a deep understanding of our business needs, consider external benchmarks and category industry information and capabilities to ensure excellence in execution Partner with the key Global, Regional and Local stakeholders to ensure alignment with the business requirements at all levels and across both Commercial and Supply functions Lead the supplier identification and robust selection processes with responsibility for financial and contractual negotiation in accordance with the Commercial Guide and Mars governance framework.
Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with suppliers.
track, monitor and drive key supplier performance indicators.
Ensure robust project and change management processes, including correct governance and escalation procedures.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor Level degree qualification, ideally in Business, Economics, Commerce or Finance 10+years experience in FMCG organizations, preferably in Commercial/Procurement or Logistics Procurement Exceptional network builder with strong negotiation skills and extensive networks external to Mars.
An experienced people influencer with strong collaboration skills, proven effectiveness in a matrixed environment, with multi-cultural and remote peers/ project teams Experience in leading and implementing new programs and initiatives Solid knowledge and understanding of the Australian and New Zealand warehouse and transport industries What can you expect from Mars?
