The Company Our client is an ASX-listed biopharmaceutical company leveraging a proprietary technology platform to develop treatments for gastrointestinal conditions and diseases. Their flagship product, designed to target pathogenic bacteria and enhance GI health and immunity, has gained significant popularity in both domestic and international markets and is the only product of its kind meeting an unmet need.
The Opportunity As they pivot from a small-scale operation into a growing organisation, you will support the end-to-end supply chain program for their products. Reporting directly to the COO, this new role will be instrumental to the continued success of their business, and will include:
Supporting the comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, from production through to distribution of finished products. Collaborating with internal marketing and executive staff to monitor sales and market trends, regulatory changes, and customer demands to anticipate supply chain challenges. Supporting negotiation of contracts, terms, and conditions with third-party vendors, including suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors, to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met. Implementing best practices for inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics to improve and maintain efficiency throughout the supply chain process. Identifying and supporting Pharmaceutical primary packing, secondary packing and distribution to customers within Australian and overseas markets. Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies and contingency plans to overcome disruptions across each stage of the process.
The Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. At least 2 years demonstrated expertise supporting end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain processes, especially in planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Experience in project management, highlighted by supporting the delivery of similar supply chain projects. Strong digital technology acumen. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
