We are currently seeking a driven and motivated individual with a focus to join our professional Permits Team based at our stunning Robina office on the Gold Coast.
As the Permits and Covenant Officer, your purpose is to ensure that all building approvals and covenant applications are lodged and obtained from developers in accordance with company guidelines and within the agreed timeframes. With your knowledge and experience in Permits and Covenants, you will review any complex job files as identified by management and ensure the documentation is correct and compliant with the Building Approval requirements.
Reporting to the Permits, Covenants and Contracts Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Obtain required building, planning and other permits within time frames that contribute to set targets. Adhere to company procedures for the permits and covenant functions. Provide support for permits and covenant functions to other departments. Lodge covenant applications with relevant developers in agreed timeframes. Follow up and forward any outstanding documentation required for developers' covenant approvals in agreed timeframes. Obtain covenant approvals from relevant developers in agreed timeframes. Manage certifier relations and performance monitoring. Record systems and data. Interpret and manage daily report(s) and focus to meet workflow requirements. Metricon will offer you:

Relevant experience in a similar role within a time critical working environment. Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities. Working knowledge of the building and construction process would be an advantage. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment. Intermediate Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills. Some experience in using database systems is an added advantage. How to Apply:
