Yurika is looking for a qualified candidate for a 15-month fixed term position.

About your new role: We have an opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our Yurika team located at Darwin, NT.
You need to be current Electrical Workers License, trade qualified within Northern Territory or an ability to obtain mutual recognition.
The position has been evaluated as Technical Service Person Grade Three (TSP3).
Remuneration will range from $100, 202 per annum, plus allowances and 12.75% superannuation.
The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant's knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in these positions.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.

About you: Critical to your success in the role, is your: Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
Knowledge of electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures.
Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
Willingness to travel as needed Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical or respond to pre-employment medical questions as part of the selection process.
