We are seeking a motivated and proactive Metering and Billing Officer to join a dynamic team at a South Australian State Government agency.

Key Responsibilities:As a Metering and Billing Officer , your role will be essential in ensuring that customer billing and meter reading processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
Your duties will include: Completing emails and CSIS PWQ's prior to billing schedules Managing Maximo Queues and ensuring timely completion of bill intercepts Investigating and addressing unrecorded meter changes and out-of-tolerance readings Resolving issues related to estimated reads and implementing preventive measures Supporting the delivery of CRM projects to reduce estimated reads Processing Metering Diagnostics and conducting investigations to ensure accurate billing Managing special billing arrangements for key customers, including hydrants and manual billing Ensuring compliance with audit requirements and timely completion of reconciliations Key Selection Criteria:To succeed in this role, you will need: Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling data and processing billing.
Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues and share information in a team environment.
Analytical and Investigative Skills: A keen ability to analyse data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively.
Quick Learner: Adaptability to learn new systems and processes with ease.
Back Office Experience: Experience in back-office functions is highly regarded.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders.
