A great opportunity has arisen at Becks Mitre 10 for a Trade Account Manager. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will represent our Becks Mitre 10 business across the northwest region of Tasmania.
About the role You will have previous sales experience at a Sales Representative/Account Management level or similar capacity. Your ability to build strong relationships in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will lead to your success in this dynamic role. A passion for outstanding customer service will help you deliver the required sales targets and KPIs while adding real value to our trade customers.
You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target-driven environment. A high level of verbal and written communication and great presentation skills are required. It is also essential that you are confident working independently and proactively within a team environment.
What you will be doing Achievement of sales, margin, and product mix targets Attracting new customers while growing existing business Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities Effective management of a diverse builder-centric customer base Development and implementation of trade sales plans and initiatives Communicating and representing the Mitre10 brand to key stakeholders through sales meetings, training, and industry events Promoting safety as part of our everyday culture What you will bring to the role A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in Timber, Plumbing, and Building materials Previous experience in a similar sales role Excellent negotiation and presentation skills A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials What we can offer you The right candidate can look forward to a competitive salary package, negotiated based on experience.
