Full time The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.
We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.
What's on Offer : We are currently searching for an Electrical Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of electrical maintenance activities for electrical departments on the surface and underground. The objective of this role is to provide a weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plan to ensure minimal downtime and is compliant with site standards, industry regulations and statutory requirements.
About the Role : Use of SAP to manage the electrical maintenance of all surface assets, and track work order completionMonitor the status of asset performanceUpdate the service sheets to ensure they are relevant to all requirements and standardsDevelopment of future scheduling and ensure timely completion of electrical maintenance activitiesIdentify areas for improvement in electrical maintenance strategiesDevelop and implement maintenance strategies to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtimeProvide updates on the status of equipment and other issues for potential riskOnboard and manage external contractorsEnsure all spare parts are available for upcoming worksThe successful applicant will have : Trade Qualification and Experience (non-negotiable)Current Australian Manual Drivers LicenceStrong use of MS Office SuiteWorking knowledge of CMMS SystemsGood reporting and accounting abilityExperience using SAP for maintenance planning and schedulingStrong communication and teamwork skillsHigh level attention to detailAbout you : You will have trade & maintenance scheduling experience, desirably in the electrical industry. This role would suit someone from a trades-background who is looking to move away from being on the tools full-time, and move into a scheduling position.
