About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity as a Metallurgist to develop your career at Olympic Dam and join the Processing and Refinery Production Support team. You will be collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Technical team members to deliver excellence in plant operation.
The Processing and Refinery Team offers access to a wide range of unit operations including: Grinding, Flotation, Leaching, Copper solvent extraction, Uranium solvent extraction, Electrowinning, Electrorefining and Gold/Silver refining.
This role is based at Olympic Dam on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster and can be offered as FIFO ex-Adelaide, DIDO or Residential. Reporting to the Superintendent Production Support – Processing and Refinery, you will be part of a team responsible for developing operating strategies, investigating performance variance and optimising plant performance.
