Role Details:
Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist , you will be responsible for providing support to metallurgical and operational personnel at the processing plant by sampling and analysing process streams to maximise plant performance and achieve production targets.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Contribute to the consistent achievement of budgeted production performance, including tonnes treated, gold produced and plant recovery
Provide analysis on a daily, weekly & Monthly basis as determined by the current metallurgical laboratory sample schedule
Calibration and maintenance of laboratory and plant analysers
Interact between Plant Metallurgists, Supervisors and operators and provide technical support to the Plant
Liaise with and support team members and complete sampling and testing as requested
Correct and/or report safety and environmental hazards when identified to mitigate risk and reduce the occurrence of incidents and/or injury
About you:
Previous operating experience in a metallurgical environment, preferably gold
Sound knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment
Previous experience operating AAS, Cyanoprobe
Computing skills in word processing, spread sheets and databases
A WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence as a minimum
