Metal Machinist / Fitter

We are seeking an experienced trade qualified Metal Machinist/Fitter to join a dynamic team at DMMeng.
Position Details: Full time position Overtime is generally available Carry out manufacturing and maintenance activities of components and equipment Perform mechanical repairs, manufacture components & other duties. Punctuality Presentation Communication & Respect to Customers Initiative Willingness to learn & teach Cohesiveness with work colleagues Skills & Experience: To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
Have certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical trade Minimum 5 years' experience Have a strong adherence to OH&S and in keeping a safe working environment Self-motivated and able to work independently Knowledge in mathematical skills to be able to work out & solve problems Line boring capabilities are not essential but a great asset to our team Maintenance fitting or Machining will allow immediate exposure to many of the industries we cater to. However, an eagerness and willingness to develop these skills is also a great asset to our team Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Fitter: 5 years (Preferred) Licence/Certification: Forklift Licence (Preferred) Driver Licence (Preferred) Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred) Work Location: In person
