We are looking for experienced stainless steel fabricators or welders to expand our skilled workforce, to fill full time, permanent positions.The PositionThe Metal Fabricator or Welder will perform the following duties:Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.Select metal stock, such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and mild steel.Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, plasma cutting torches and metal cutting machines such as guillotines.Shape and form cut metal stock into products using brake presses, folders, rollers.Assemble and weld components together using TIG welding.Polish and buff finished products to the required surface finish.Install commercial kitchen equipment and other products of the company.Skills and ExperienceThe successful applicants will have the following:AQF Certificate III Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience.Specialised experience in TIG welding and polishing of stainless steel, aluminium, brass and specialty alloys is an advantage.Experience in the fabrication of commercial kitchen equipment is an advantage.ApplicationPlease send your covering letter and resume.
