About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented contractor to assist with media organisation and metadata tagging.
You will ensure our media assets are well-organised, tagged correctly, and easily accessible, contributing to the overall efficiency of our media operations.
Please note, this is a part-time 3 month fixed term contract (2 days per week).
What You'll Do: Media Organisation: Maintain and organise the digital media library, ensuring all assets are properly categorised and accessible.Perform audits to correct discrepancies or missing information.Collaborate on improving media organisation strategies.Metadata Tagging: Apply consistent metadata tags to images, videos, and audio files, adhering to established guidelines.Review and update existing metadata for better searchability.Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate tagging and organisation.
Resolve metadata or media organisation issues.Documentation and Reporting: Document processes for media organisation and metadata tagging.
Generate reports on media library status, including asset counts and tagging accuracy.What You'll Bring: Experience in media production or related fields.Knowledge of file formats, codecs, and media management workflows.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points: Experience in metadata tagging and digital asset management.Familiarity with metadata standards (e.g., IPTC, XMP).Experience with digital asset management systems.Join the Team: If you're looking to grow your career with Quad Lock, we'd love to hear from you!
