To succeed, you will demonstrate: Expertise and Experience: A high level of scientific expertise in a relevant medical laboratory discipline, with practical experience in pathogen whole genome sequencing, bioinformatics, and microbiology/virology procedures at a tertiary level.
Technical and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to perform high-quality laboratory testing, troubleshoot equipment, and apply quality assurance processes effectively, all while using various software applications and laboratory computing tools.
Adaptability and Initiative: Capacity to prioritise and manage workflows efficiently, operate under pressure with limited supervision, and proactively identify and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
