Visit us here.About Your RoleThe Magistrates' Early Referral Into Treatment (MERIT) Program provides case management for defendants who have entered the criminal justice system and have a demonstrable alcohol or other drug problem.The purpose of this position is to provide accurate assessments and written reports to the Courts and facilitate intensive case management of defendants throughout the bail period.The Caseworker will provide high-quality Alcohol and Other Drug clinical service to clients with identified drug dependence and legal issues (in Local Courts within MLHD) that have been referred to the MERIT program, to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for clients of the service.Your application will require you to include a resume and cover letter outlining your skills and experience and why you are a good fit for this position.MLHD is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages all suitably qualified applicants to apply, including Aboriginal People and people from racial, ethnic, or ethno-religious minority groups and people with disability.
