Anglicare's Strategy & Transformation team is looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager. Our team is responsible for developing Anglicare's strategy and driving the implementation of key strategic initiatives. As the successful incumbent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future and direction of Anglicare! Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, you'll collaborate with the SBU Executives and Key Organisation Stakeholders. You will lead the evaluation of Anglicare's corporate development opportunities whether partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In addition, you will lead high impact transaction processes including due diligence, financial modelling, negotiations and integration in line with Anglicare's strategy and mission.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and make recommendations on Anglicare's corporate development opportunities, ensuring that strategy, valuation and risks are considered with a high degree of rigour and commerciality.Generate creative solutions and novel ways to achieve strategic objectives (e.g. through new ventures, partnerships, capital structuring solutions).Coordinate transaction processes across the various workstreams.Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.Work with all stakeholders to ensure action plans are in place to deliver strategic and financial objectives.Post-transaction reporting against original assumptions, targets and commitments.Manage the appointment and use of external advisers required to assist Anglicare.Act professionally and with integrity as a representative of Anglicare in commercial negotiations with third parties.Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years of end-to-end M&A transaction experience is a must.A qualification in accounting, legal or finance, or other relevant.Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to independently build financial models, valuations, debt structures.Exceptional stakeholder relationship and communication skills.Post-transaction implementation experience is preferred.Passion for improving the lives of older Australians, with knowledge of aged care being advantageous.Commitment to Anglicare Sydney's mission and values, including a Christian faith.What We Offer: Competitive salary package, with NFP salary packaging benefits.Flexible work arrangements.Paid parental leave.Fitness passport and employee discounts.Employee Assistance Program for staff wellbeing.Make an Impact Today!
