Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst / M&A Analyst Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting) Full time Business growth has created the opportunity for high performing individuals looking for a challenge, to join a team of capable, dedicated professionals in the role of M&A Analyst. The position is based in our Sunshine Coast office and does not offer remote work options.
The Organisation Divest Merge Acquire (DMA) is a leading M&A Advisory firm specialising in business sales and acquisitions to strategic buyers in the $3M-$100M+ value range. DMA operates nationally in a global marketplace, with strong systems and technology, has an extensive database and a broad referral network. DMA has been operating for 25 years and consistently ranks in the top 5 in Australia's M&A mid-market. The business is also the exclusive Australian member of Corporate Finance International – a global M&A group with 27 offices in 19 countries.
Opportunity to: Join a leading professional M&A advisory teamBe involved in interesting, complex and challenging projectsProvide support on M&A projects for businesses in the $3M-$100M+ value rangeDMA provides comprehensive training and mentoring to help you become a key team member on transactions, including processing and analysis of client financials, assistance with preliminary pricing strategies, assisting with due diligence processes, data room management, and other ad-hoc analysis work.
What you will be doing: Preparation of comprehensive client financial analysis including:Detailed P&L analysisWorking Capital analysisEarnings multiple pricing analysis & strategyOffer analysisLiaise with clients & other professionals in M&A transactionsRequired: Be a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentHave strong interpersonal skills and a desire to become an integral part of a diverse and social teamBe on the path to advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, Outlook and related applicationsStrive to continuously improve knowledge through ongoing professional developmentBe confident in interacting with clients and other professionals in meetings, phone calls, and via email with support from team membersHave some experience (3 to 5 years minimum) in an accounting / finance roleKnowledge and understanding of the financial services industryPreferred: Qualified or partially qualified within a business-related discipline – preferably accountingPrefer CA / CPA or in progressAbility to interpret financial statementsHow To Apply: If you think you're up to the challenge and want to explore this outstanding opportunity, please email your resume and cover letter addressing your experience against the key requirements listed above.
