Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities
As our File Reviewer you will be responsible for performing rigorous, objective file reviews to help accountancy firms adhere to regulatory standards.
Assume responsibility for performing high quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards. Work closely with and support our Product team, contributing to the technical, client and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions. Be a brand advocate for Mercia. What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
ACA qualification or equivalent, with substantial post-qualification experience Expertise in external audit, accounts, and compliance regulation Ability to travel within the UK as needed Commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues effectively Project management and organizational skills Experience reviewing audit files or compliance work (preferable) To be successful in this role, it would be great if you also have:
A high degree of research skills to stay current with regulatory changes A talent for translating technical information into client-friendly insights We know it's not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
