We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in designing and executing data migration strategies within a large-scale SAP implementation project. This functional role focuses on ensuring the smooth transition of critical data related to material management (MM) and procurement processes, aligning with business requirements and best practices. As part of this role, you will engage directly with business stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to the design, mapping, and testing of data migration solutions. Your deep understanding of SAP MM processes and your ability to translate business needs into effective functional solutions will be crucial to the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and define target data rules.Design functional data migration solutions for material management and procurement modules, including mapping source-to-target fields and establishing reconciliation processes.Conduct workshops to gather and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with data migration strategies.Develop functional specifications to support the loading of data into SAP S/4HANA.Prepare and execute test cases to validate the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data.Engage with stakeholders to present data migration designs, share progress, and address concerns.Provide functional insights to support system testing and defect resolution during the migration process.Ensure compliance with best practices and governance frameworks throughout the data migration lifecycle.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, business-driven solutions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of SAP MM processes and data structures.Proven experience in at least two data migration implementation projects.Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and actionable solutions.Experience in conducting workshops and engaging with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on addressing data-related issues and challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to diverse audiences.Experience in preparing and supporting system test plans and reconciliation processes for data migration projects.Demonstrated ability to deliver results within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.Preferred Skills:Experience working within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in SAP environments.This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile SAP projects, collaborating with dynamic teams to deliver impactful solutions that align business needs with innovative technologies.
