An exciting opportunity for a retail merchandiser has come up to join a trend-driven global Australian brand. The role will see you driving and maximizing profits across womenswear apparel through range planning, financial analysis, and stock/supply management.
The role: Maximize profit and minimize risk through stock management and realistic sales forecastsRegularly review sales forecasts and sales patternsWork with buyers on key market trendsEnd of month and season review on ranges and gaps in the offeringManage planners, conducting reviews, and trainingWork closely with buyers and designers on range buildsManage the sign-off process, looking at open-to-buy and marginsEnsure stock is allocated correctly to storesRegular warehouse visits and work with analystsThe candidate: Previous experience as a planner or a merchandiser within a UK or European retailerExperience with womenswear apparelAble to work both proactively and reactivelyStrong negotiation and influencing skillsA good background in managing and developing a teamExperience with WISSI and ExcelStrong financial and commercial acumenThis role comes with a good salary in Australian dollars, plus relocation, temporary accommodation, and visa support.
