We have a fantastic permanent part-time opportunity now available in our Heatherbrae AgriSolutions Store for an experienced, enthusiastic, and organised self-starter to join our team.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
Provide agricultural advisory and sales service to clients and build business partnerships with our customer base through the provision of sound technical advice.Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receipting, stocktake, and dispatch.Processing of sales and generating quotes.About you: You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with great customer service and sales experience. Able to meet deadlines whilst balancing a range of work and have a keen interest in an agricultural environment.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role: Strong customer service and sales experience.Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health, or Agronomy is an advantage.Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office, POS, and administration skills.Physically fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.Forklift licence or willingness to get one.Why should you join the team at Norco?
