About the roleWe have an exciting fixed-term parental leave backfill opportunity for a Merchandise Planner to join the BCM Events team where you will partner closely with category managers to provide decision support through:
Analysis of historical performanceInterpretation of current and future trendsUnderstanding of marketing and operational initiativesFocus on and be part of the merchandise transformation and BU Support teamYour day to day will include:
Provide recommendations for trading activity based on interpretation of prior performance/historical trendsIn-depth post-event analysisSKU quantification for range plans and event buysMake recommendations for changes to store distributionDetermine ideal shelf stockholding based on planned rate of sale and carton sizePlan weekly sales, markdowns and margin for monthly financial projectionsReporting and analysis of special trading activityAbout you and your skillsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to have genuine impact in the work you will do.
