Position Details Grounds and Maintenance Officer
As a member of the Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the College's facilities and buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Your responsibilities encompass a variety of maintenance tasks designed to uphold the College's high standards for functionality and presentation.
The Grounds and Maintenance Officer is part of the College's support staff, reporting to the Property and Maintenance Manager, who in turn reports to the Director of Corporate Services.
This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The position demands practical expertise in repair and maintenance, including:
Carpentry Plumbing Lighting Furniture Glazing Roof plumbing It also requires thorough knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role.
In addition, this position involves liaising with external suppliers and service providers to:
Coordinate maintenance activities Secure materials Oversee the delivery of quality services in a timely manner This is an ongoing, full-time position.
