The Wajarri Yamaji Native Title determination is one of the largest in Australia.WYAC has an Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) with the CSIRO and Commonwealth Government in respect of the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO), an international effort to build the world's largest radio telescope on Wajarri Yamaji Country.
The ILUA is an important relationship between the Wajarri Yamaji People and SKAO partners.WYAC is seeking an experienced Mentoring Officer to join the team in our Geraldton Office, offering a competitive salary with the opportunity for salary sacrifice and a friendly & flexible working environment.The RoleThe Mentoring Officer is responsible for providing educational mentoring, culturally appropriate support, mediation, and program delivery to Wajarri Yamaji People.In line with specific role requirements under the ILUA at Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, preference will be given to suitable Minangu Wajarri people.
