As a mentor, you will attract, engage, and support a caseload of parents or carers with young children. The role will work closely with the senior Mentor in assisting participants to identify their goals and facilitate activities that help them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.

This position requires applicants to possess a minimum of Certificate III in a relevant field, or willingness to work towards one, and a current driver's license. You can expect to spend some time on the road delivering services in Belconnen and across the Capital and surrounding region. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Engage and mentor parents, fostering supportive relationships to encourage their growth. Assess individual needs and facilitate activities aligned with participants' goals. Navigate barriers such as language, domestic violence, trauma, mental health, and childcare. Provide support for both vocational and non-vocational challenges. Connect participants with funding, community resources, and support networks. Promote Parent Pathways and Sureway's programs at events and fairs. This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens.
