Work with a Leading Healthcare Organization Specialized Older Persons Mental Health Focus Temporary 12-Week Contract with Potential for Extension About the Role & Client We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker (Level 1-2) for a 12-week contract within an Older Persons Mental Health Unit in Wagga Wagga.
Working with a leading healthcare provider, you will play a pivotal role in supporting older adults' mental health needs.
This is a fulfilling opportunity for a social worker with aged care experience who is ready to make a meaningful difference in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, focusing on the mental health needs of older adults.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote quality of life and well-being in aged care settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, holistic care, including case management and crisis intervention as needed.
Skills & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work and eligibility for Level 1-2 roles.
Previous experience in aged care or older persons' mental health.
Strong interpersonal, assessment, and case management skills with a client-centered approach.
