About the role
We are seeking an experienced, driven Service Manager for a full time, permanent position in the Deer Park area.
Leading and managing all aspects of the service, you will ensure provision of high standard service delivery consistent with Mind's Model of Recovery Oriented Practice and organisational values for people experiencing mental health and wellbeing challenges.

The Mercy Mental Health and Wellbeing Service Prevention and Recovery Care Unit (PARC), operated in partnership between Mind and Mercy, offers short-term, intensive support for individuals aged 16-65 transitioning from hospital or aiming to prevent hospital admissions due to mental health challenges.
The 24/7 service helps clients achieve recovery goals, strengthen family and social connections, and build confidence for independent living.
It provides one-on-one and group support tailored to each client's recovery plan, operating within a recovery-focused, clinical treatment framework aligned with Mind's values.

Key responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the PARC to ensure the service is operating efficiently and effectively.
Lead and manage services to clients, carers and families as defined in the Model of Recovery Oriented Practice and related guidelines to ensure that individually tailored services for clients and their family and carers are provided to the highest standard.
Oversee, coach and model a targeted, integrated and individualised response to clients through flexible, person-centred active support.
Guide staff to develop skills to facilitate family and carer meetings, events and goals.
Build and lead a high-performance team through engaging the team, setting clear direction and fostering team engagement.
Collaborate with leaders across other services within Mind to build local pathways to support service access.
What you'll bring
Minimum bachelor qualifications in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health-related field.
Experience and expertise in working directly with people with mental health issues, complex needs and with their families and carers.
Proven experience in leadership and capability to coach, mentor and develop a team to achieve best quality service outcomes.
