Seeking expressions of interest for Psychologists to join our team. You'll work as a part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members.
Referrals will come from a variety of sources; the member, medical team and Command, offering diversity in presentations and support requests.
Psychologist roles at Robertson Health Centre: The support you will offer begins with initial intake and assessment with flexibility to accommodate presenting need.There is scope for the use of psychometrics and engagement in treatment that capitalises on your skills, interests and scope of practice.You'll have autonomy to manage your caseload including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defence members.Additionally, your management of crisis presentations, risk assessment and risk management planning is supported within a multi-disciplinary team.To be successful in this role, you'll have: Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based 'Focused Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule.Please note, you must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
