Boab Health Services is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service which offers a multitude of services throughout the Kimberley.
This is a unique and rare opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Professional (psychologist, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, Aboriginal health worker or social worker) to join our organisation in an established role delivering mental health services across the age range in the East Kimberley region.
About the role This role delivers mental health services to clients experiencing mental health issues. The successful clinician will have experience in using evidence-based focused psychological strategies and will provide psychological counselling and suicide prevention and support services to clients across the age range. This position will at times work in partnership with local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, WA Country Health Service, and other community-based organisations.

You will have significant post-registration experience with evidence-based psychological interventions and suicide prevention across the lifespan. Your experience, compassion, and motivation to collaborate with Aboriginal people and in rural and remote mental health care will be highly regarded. You will have AHPRA registration (if applicable to your discipline) and relevant professional association membership.
