We currently have a PART-TIME/CASUAL opportunity for a highly motivated and committed MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL to join our friendly and supportive Mental Health team, in The Barrington Clinic Day Program.This role requires you to facilitate small groups within our Mental Health Day Program, delivering therapeutic modalities such as DBT, ACT, CBT or similar, for adult consumers living with mental illness, including PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, and addiction. You will work closely with other members of the team to review consumer goals and progress, and help consumers reach their desired outcomes. Group Clinical Supervision is provided on-site for the successful applicant.About you (essential criteria):Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.Highly developed assessment and treatment skills.Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Immunisation evidence (including full COVID vaccination) and serology report.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or related discipline.Current registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body.Minimum 3 years' experience working in a mental health setting.Experience in delivering psychoeducation and/or group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or similar.Experience writing and developing group programs.Healthe Care is an equal opportunity employer.
