Mental Health Practitioner Full Time Across 4 CampusesAn exciting and rewarding ongoing fulltime Mental Health Practitioner role is available for a qualified Social Worker (eligible for membership of the AASW), Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse (holding full AHPRA registration), or Counsellor who holds registration with the ACA (Level 2 or above) or PACFA.
The position is 0.2FTE at Nhill College, Dimboola Memorial Secondary College, Kaniva College, and Rainbow P-12 College, with 0.2 paid in compensation for travel.
Salary is currently $91,427 - $107,800 depending on experience, with paid school holidays (11 weeks paid leave per year), a 1% annual position allowance, and a 2% salary increase per year.
Mental Health Practitioners work with secondary school students providing counselling, support for students with complex needs, and mental health prevention and promotion. They are supported by a Mental Health Coordinator, linked with other MHPs, provided with professional supervision, and have access to extensive professional development.
