Ensure all documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.Client-Centered Care: Develop personalized care plans addressing each client's unique needs.
Collaborate closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to implement and monitor these plans effectively.Professional Development: Stay abreast of advancements in mental health care and telehealth services, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Compliance and Ethics: Uphold professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements in the provision of mental health services, ensuring adherence to BAMH policies and procedures.RequirementsCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board.Accreditation: Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist with current registration.Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and working with diverse mental health needs.
Experience with DVA clients and the NDIS system preferred.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in telehealth platforms and report writing software.
Basic proficiency in digital tools and electronic health records management.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for engaging clients effectively in virtual settings and producing clear, detailed reports.Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic, patient, and skilled in building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
