The Role: Opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work in a clinic setting within the Immigration Detention Centre. Key responsibilities include:
Provide a high standard of clinical care pertaining to mental health care. Initiate appropriate treatment and referral in emergency situations. Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Manage patients on mental health medications. Administer medications. Conduct health promotional activities. Work with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse. Minimum 3 years' experience in Mental Health Nursing. Advanced clinical assessment, care planning, and crisis management skills.
