RN/M3 Ongoing Full Time Overview Are you a seasoned Mental Health Nurse with a passion for leading clinical excellence and driving recovery-focused care? We are seeking a Mental Health Nurse Consultant to provide high-quality, safe mental health services and clinical consultancy supporting the recovery of mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings.
This role demands clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to improving consumer outcomes through innovative practices and projects. You will be:
Delivering expert mental health nursing care with a high degree of autonomy. Providing clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing teams. Coordinating and leading projects or programs aimed at enhancing service delivery and consumer outcomes. Taking accountability for your nursing practice, including decision-making, policy adherence, and professional advice. Core Competencies Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent). At least 3 years of post-registration experience in mental health nursing. Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a diverse workload.
