About the role
This exciting and diverse position will provide clinical leadership, consultation, and expertise in the delivery of evidence-informed service delivery and implementation of the program or projects and support the National Program Manager.
The Clinical Lead is a key leadership position working alongside the National Program Manager and Team Lead to support and contribute to the design, development and implementation of the workshops within the Mental Health Education Program. These school-based workshops hold a strong focus on building the mental health literacy and capacity of, headspace centres, local services and wider school communities to implement an approach to evidence-based mental health promotion and early intervention. The Mental Health Education Program provides mental health education sessions to school staff, students, parents and carers, across Australia and specifically in regional, rural and remote school communities.
Who we're looking for
This role calls for a responsive and highly motivated individual with advanced clinical skills within mental health and has considerable demonstrated senior clinical experience including the provision of clinical supervision.
To be successful, you will possess exceptional leadership skills, advanced clinical competency and be highly motivated to engage, liaise and negotiate with a broad range of health professionals and organisations.
This role requires intra state and interstate travel.

Salary range of $103,500 - $109,000 pro rata, dependant on years of experience and qualifications

To be eligible for this position you must
Have the right to live and work in Australia
Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent, and/or pass all of the WWCC(s) required for this role (please note that for some roles, headspace requires WWCCs for other State/Territories in addition to your Home State)
Satisfactorily undergo a headspace Police Check
Have proof and be up to date with your Covid-19 vaccinations in accordance with the headspace COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy and any Government directives
The ability to travel both regionally and interstate as required
A current driver's licence and use of a fully maintained motor vehicle
