This pivotal role provides clinical, educational, and professional mental health services, supporting both regional South Australia and the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS).About the RoleAs a Mental Health Consultation Liaison Consultant, you will work in close partnership with a wide range of stakeholders to provide expert advice, clinical leadership, and education on mental health issues.
Your role will focus on providing consultation, liaison, and mentorship to Mental Health (MH) clinicians and staff throughout the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.You will:Provide expert clinical consultation to teams across the LCLHN, supporting the management of individuals with complex mental health needs.Mentor and educate staff in evidence-based mental health practices.Collaborate closely with the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS).Play a leadership role in the ongoing development of mental health services.Enhance service delivery by promoting best-practice mental health interventions.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health professional who is eager to make a positive impact on the delivery of mental health services in rural and regional South Australia.EligibilityMust hold a recognised qualification within the recognised Allied Health Profession of Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association; orRegistered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent).For more information about the role please refer to the Job Pack.
