Mental Health Co-Responder (Clinical Nurse Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist), Queensland Health The Recovery and Partnerships team are seeking a skilled Mental Health Co-Responder to join their team, where you will play a pivotal role in providing immediate support.
The Co-Responder Model aims to effectively prevent and resolve mental health crises by fostering collaboration and understanding between Queensland Health and the QAS. This model features a dual response team comprising a senior mental health clinician and a QAS officer, who work together to provide specialised mental health expertise in the community.

The Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services works in collaboration with the local hospitals, other mental health and alcohol and other drugs teams, as well as primary health, community, and private sector providers to reduce the symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the role:
The Co-Responder Model is designed to effectively prevent and resolve mental health crises by fostering collaboration between Queensland Health and the QAS. This model features a dual response team that includes a senior mental health clinician and a QAS officer, who work together to provide specialised mental health expertise in the community. They conduct rapid assessments and interventions, ensuring timely access to care and information. This combined approach ensures that individuals experiencing mental health issues receive appropriate support, whether through psychiatric assessment or, when necessary, transportation to a hospital for further evaluation.

Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 p.a. is comprised of:
