As a multi-disciplined service provider, WWH prioritises staff professional supervision by having internal AHPRA Board approved supervisors and facilitating an ongoing workforce development program. The successful applicant is expected to undertake the following duties: Employ knowledge of the profession of Psychology while considering ethical, legal, and professional matters.Undertake and demonstrate the highest standards in communication and interpersonal relationships.Undertake practice of the profession working with people from diverse groups and across the life span.Within a supervised and supported team environment, manage a case load of referred consumers.Deliver group-based and individual therapeutic counselling and healing services for male and female consumers aged between 5-75 experiencing mild to moderate MH/SEWB challenges.Deliver in-office and outreach Psychology services, via in-person face-to-face and telehealth modes as appropriate.Undertake best practice assessment, care planning, care reviews, and the delivery of therapeutic services for referred consumers and carers.Work within a team and in collaboration with other services and community members to enhance the delivery of culturally appropriate, safe, and responsive MH/SEWB services.Work within a team, develop links, and collaborate in partnership with a range of stakeholders.Prepare reports and documentation for a variety of stakeholders supporting the assessment and therapeutic supports for referred consumers.Psychologists/Mental Health Social Workers: when required, undertake psychometric testing using validated testing instruments.Must be registered or be eligible to register with the relevant professional peak body (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, etc).Must be willing to complete pre-employment screening, including Criminal History & Disciplinary Checks, Blue Card, and Queensland Disability Worker Screening/NDIS Worker Screening (or eligibility/pending approvals); andHold a current driver's licence.What we can offer you: Regular specialist individual and group professional supervision and support from AHPRA registered and Board Approved Supervisors and senior clinicians.Full administration support within clinic settings.Ongoing access to training and professional development opportunities.WWH understands that people have a variety of priorities and commitments such as work, family, culture, and health; thus, we provide flexible work arrangements.An opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge by delivering services across regional, remote, and very remote sites across Queensland.An opportunity to work within a disciplined and certified Mental Health/Social and Emotional wellbeing service setting.An opportunity to work in an organisation that, as standard practice, is inclusive of carers and support people and promotes cultural and community advocacy in all aspects of service delivery.An opportunity to work in an organisation that seeks to find the balance and inclusion of both clinical and cultural governance.An opportunity to work in an organisation that requires disciplined, motivated professionals who continually seek to surpass their potential and set the highest of standards in healing through hard work.A competitive remuneration package, plus 11% Super and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading; andSalary sacrifice for superannuation options available.Your application will include the following questions:
