Mental Health Clinician - Triage (Clinical Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist)We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team. You must hold a degree in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology (with a focus on mental health practice).
The Mental Health Clinician employs specialised skills from their discipline to provide exceptional mental health care to individuals facing mental illness or significant mental health challenges, as well as their families, while adhering to national and state professional standards.
Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the acute adult services including the Acute Care Team and inpatient facilities. In addition, there is an Adult Step-Up, Step-Down facility located in Gladstone and an Adult Community Care Unit located in Rockhampton.
About the role: The Mental Health Clinician uses discipline specific clinical skills to deliver high quality specialist mental health care to consumers with mental illness or serious mental health problems and their families, in keeping with professional national and state requirements.
